Join us for a 2 hour design workshop focused on dahlias. These flowers come in every shape and are the grand finale of the summer flower season. This workshop will be taught in the studio and greenhouse, then students will pick their own flowers from the garden to design a centerpiece to take home. You will learn about the different types of flowers that support designs with dahlias. You'll see first hand the different types of dahlias we grow (dinner plates, ball, decorative, lily, anemone) and experiment with how to use them in a vase and how to pick complementary flowers to bring your design together.
We will cover basic design principles, how to hunt for key ingredients in the garden, vase mechanics, processing flowers, and you will get to pick your own flowers for your design.

If you are unable to attend, please send an email to gina@shegrows.com at least 30 days before the workshop and you'll receive a full refund. After 30 days there are no refunds and no transfers to other workshops. You may gift your ticket to someone else but the ticket is yours.
